About the Role: We are seeking a highly technical Senior SAP APO Consultant to govern, optimize, and support our global supply chain planning ecosystem. In this position, you will map intricate planning and fulfillment processes across DP, SNP, PP/DS, and GATP modules. You will act as the principal architect for APOERP integration pipelines, translating complex business needs into durable functional specifications, tuning statistical models, and stabilizing live production databases. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical ABAP teams and business planning units to minimize recurring operational incidents. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Implementation: Lead business workshops to chart AS-IS/TO-BE flows, translate requirements into configuration workbooks, and drive testing (UT/SIT/UAT), cutovers, and hypercare. Integration & Data Governance: Build and stabilize integration models using CIF, troubleshoot qRFC queues, resolve data discrepancies, and govern master data components (PDS/PPM, lanes, resources). Demand Planning (DP): Configure planning areas, key figures, macro definitions, and tune statistical forecasting models using KPIs like bias and MAPE to optimize S&OP consensus. Supply Network Planning (SNP): Configure multi-echelon networks, execute heuristic/optimizer planning runs, and refine deployment logic using the Transport Load Builder (TLB). Production Planning & Scheduling (PP/DS): Define finite scheduling constraints, manage setups, and support planners via the Detailed Scheduling Planning Board to minimize changeovers. Global Available-to-Promise (GATP): Configure check strategies, Rules-Based ATP (RBA), and Backorder Processing (BOP) rules to maximize confirmation accuracy. Technical Collaboration & Training: Draft functional specifications for ABAP engineering teams, build operational runbooks, and deliver standard operating procedures (SOPs) to planners. Essential Skills: SAP APO Full-Suite Mastery: Comprehensive configuration depth across DP, SNP, PP/DS, and GATP models. Core Interface Architecture: Expert-level capability managing cross-system data synchronization and queue tracking. Analytical Troubleshooting: Strong root-cause analysis skills for complex pegging, receipt, and master data gaps.
