In this role, you will lead the architecture and maintenance of automated testing frameworks, focusing on front-office, middle-office, and back-office transactional processing. You will work across complex multi-tier pipelines, validating end-to-end trade lifecycles, real-time market data pricing feeds, and compliance-driven risk calculations within a fast-paced Agile engineering delivery team. Key Responsibilities: Automation Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks utilizing Playwright (highly preferred), Selenium, or Cypress across UI, API, and end-to-end layers. Domain Validation: Review and validate operational workflows for financial instruments including Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives across the complete order, execution, and settlement lifecycles. API & Messaging Verification: Perform rigorous API testing using Postman and REST Assured, auditing data persistence across microservices, SQL databases, and asynchronous streaming systems like Kafka or MQ. CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Embed automated test suites into continuous testing pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions via Git version control. Test Governance: Author comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and data management matrices; track software anomalies through Jira, and participate actively in sprint planning and backlog grooming. Essential Skills: Capital Markets Fluency: Deep professional grasp of Trading Platforms, Order Management Systems (OMS), and regulatory compliance rules. Automation Programming: Advanced script scripting proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, or Python built on modern design patterns.
