About the Role: We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Hybrid Storage Engineer to govern, optimize, and scale our enterprise data storage infrastructure. In this role, you will hold engineering accountability for our hybrid data footprints, managing complex physical arrays alongside virtualized public cloud platforms. You will replace manual storage provisioning with efficient Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and automated Power scripts. Working closely with cross-functional cloud, security, and OS teams, you will secure high performance, optimize multi-tenant file shares, and enforce resilient business continuity safeguards. Key Responsibilities: Storage Administration: Administer, configure, and scale structural CIFS file shares, directory quotas, and global storage nodes within multi-site NetApp / Clustered Data ONTAP (cDOT) environments. Infrastructure Automation: Develop and deploy custom Windows Power Scripting tasks and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) configurations to streamline cluster resource allocation. Telemetry & Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze critical runtime metrics including storage IOPS, network latency levels, and hardware capacity boundaries across hybrid pools. Data Protection & Resilience: Architect, test, and implement secure data backup, snapshots, asynchronous replication matrices, and comprehensive failover Disaster Recovery Strategies. Cross-Domain Collaboration: Partner directly with enterprise Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and Windows Server operations groups to design fluid, integrated storage workflows. Governance & Compliance: Author detailed storage topologies and ensure running volume layouts strictly align with corporate Security regulations and Data Governance Policies. Essential Skills: NetApp ONTAP Mastery: Deep technical command over physical file controllers, volume allocation, RAID structures, and storage node networking. Public Cloud Networking: Practical hands-on capability managing scalable block and file services inside Microsoft Azure. Enterprise Protocols: Advanced knowledge governing secure access permissions, file locking, and directory indexing under CIFS guidelines. Desirable Skills: Certifications: Active professional credentials such as NetApp Certified Technology Associate, NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are highly preferred.
