About the Role: We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Software Quality Engineer to lead automated and manual verification across our core application and data processing ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end system reliability by building reusable, Python-based automation scripts that span responsive web interfaces, underlying backend microservices, and massive data storage layers. Working closely with cloud developers and data engineers within a fast-paced Agile framework, you will create comprehensive test strategies to intercept quality defects, validate data migration mapping, and maintain maximum test execution coverage. Key Responsibilities: Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain modular, high-reusability automated test scripts using Playwright with Python. Full-Stack Quality Assurance: Execute end-to-end testing cycles covering UI automation, backend business logic, and programmatic API testing using tools like Postman. Data Tier Validation: Write and run complex SQL queries to conduct deep database verification, troubleshooting, and transactional validation. Data Pipeline Auditing: Validate complex ETL processes and data pipelines to verify data transformation logic, structural schema mapping, accuracy, and processing completeness. Cloud Architecture Testing: Navigate and test components hosted in Microsoft Azure environments, specifically interacting with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and related ecosystem nodes. Defect & Team Governance: Identify, document, and track systems anomalies; participate actively in product code reviews, milestone test planning, and sprint refinement cycles. Essential Skills: Playwright & Python Fluency: Minimum 4 years of proven hands-on experience structuring programmatic browser automation using Python frameworks. Database & ETL Proficiency: Excellent SQL scripting capabilities combined with structured experience auditing large-scale enterprise data ingestion pipelines. Azure Environment Familiarity: Practical operational experience navigating data repositories and job orchestration services inside Microsoft Azure.
