About the Role: We are seeking a visionary SAP BTP Lead Architect to provide top-tier technical leadership and hands-on engineering depth in designing, building, and delivering enterprise-grade cloud applications. In this pivotal role, you will dictate the technical governance and architectural standards for our cloud ecosystem using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). You will drive end-to-end integration across SAP S/4HANA, CPI, and event-driven infrastructures, while establishing rigorous DevOps pipelines. As a team mentor, you will cultivate a high-performance engineering culture, enforce quality gates, and lead sprint executions to ensure scalable digital transformations. Key Responsibilities: Application Architecture: Architect and construct enterprise cloud-native applications on SAP BTP using RAP managed and unmanaged scenarios. Data Modeling: Author complex CDS Views, behavior definitions, metadata extensions, annotations, and extensibility concepts to expose secure OData V4 services. Systems Integration: Model robust data flows connecting cloud services to SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC via SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and SAP Event Mesh. DevOps & Governance: Establish automated deployment pipelines and version control workflows using gCTS or ABAP Git while enforcing strict development quality gates. Security & Multi-Tenancy: Secure cloud assets utilizing Identity and Access Services (IAS), Destination Service, and IPS within multi-tenant environment layouts. Technical Leadership: Lead task assignment, sprint execution, peer code reviews, and regular engineering team coaching sessions to scale internal RAP capabilities. Essential Skills: Advanced RAP Mastery: Exceptional programmatic capability implementing both managed and unmanaged RAP behavior logic from scratch. Cloud-Native Integration: Deep practical understanding of SAP BTP integration services, destinations, and event-driven backend communication patterns. Fiori Component Consumption: Proven experience building services natively optimized for consumer exposure in SAP Fiori Elements and SAPUI5. Desirable Skills: Certifications: Active credentials such as SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP BTP or SAP Certified Associate - Integration Suite are highly desired.
