Job Title:Kafka Administrator Location:Winston Salem, NC(Initial Remote) Duration: Contract Client : HCL Create environments, clusters in Confluent Kafka Cloud Expertise in defining, installing, maintaining Schema Registry Create, manage source/sink Connectors to different systems Provision users and service accounts with appropriate roles and ACLs Develop security guidelines specific for environment Aid in automation of operations eg moving connectors, topics from lower to higher environments Configure monitoring with Dynatrace, Splunk Maintain API Keys Expertise in Cluster Linking and Replicator Develop and define procedures to handle operational scenarios Experience in tuning Producers/Consumers for throughput/lag Knowledge of Terraform. - Experience with Confluent Kafka provisioning, administration, security - Knowledge of working in Cloud paradigm and Networking concepts - Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines. - Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills. - Achieves results under limited direction.
