The ideal candidate will have expertise in building robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance, and optimizing data workflows to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesData Pipeline Development Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines. Build and optimize batch and real-time data integration solutions. Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources. Ensure reliable and efficient movement of data across enterprise systems.Data Quality & Governance Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring processes. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and security across platforms. Support data governance initiatives, including metadata management and compliance requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and pipeline performance issues.Scalable Data Platforms Develop and maintain scalable data storage and processing environments. Optimize data models, database performance, and ETL/ELT workflows. Support cloud-based and on-premises data architectures. Implement best practices for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.Analytics & Machine Learning Support Collaborate with analytics, business intelligence, and machine learning teams to understand data requirements. Provide clean, reliable, and accessible datasets for reporting, dashboards, and ML models. Enable self-service analytics through well-designed data structures and pipelines.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles. Strong experience with SQL and data modeling concepts. Hands-on experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines. Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of data warehousing, big data technologies, and distributed data processing frameworks. Experience with data quality, governance, and security best practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Preferred Skills Experience with Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Airflow, or similar technologies. Knowledge of Python, Scala, or Java for data engineering solutions. Familiarity with machine learning data preparation and feature engineering. Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data platforms. Understanding of modern data architectures including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh.
