Financial background! ________________________________________ About the job Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) CPQ Position Overview The Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, owning the analysis, design, and continuous improvement of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ. This individual will partner closely with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, Deal Desk, and Engineering teams to streamline complex pricing, quoting, contracting, and renewal processes. The ideal candidate combines strong business process expertise with hands-on Salesforce knowledge and has experience supporting subscription-based SaaS or cybersecurity organizations. Key Responsibilities Gather, document, and translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce and CPQ solutions. Serve as the primary business analyst for Salesforce CPQ, including: Product configuration Pricing rules Discount schedules Approval workflows Quote templates Contracting and renewals Support end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes. Partner with Sales Operations and Finance to improve pricing governance and deal execution. Analyze existing business processes and identify automation opportunities. Business Analysis Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders. Create detailed user stories, process flows, business requirements documents (BRDs), and functional specifications. Perform gap analysis and recommend scalable solutions aligned with business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on Salesforce best practices. Reporting & Analytics Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards. Monitor CPQ and sales process performance metrics. Provide insights to Sales Leadership and Revenue Operations teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Total 8+ years BSA and 5+ years of Salesforce Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience. 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience. Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes. Experience supporting Sales Cloud environments. Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Experience working in Agile environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
