Role Title Network Engineer Manufacturing & Wireless Infrastructure Consulting is seeking two (2) mid-level Network Engineers (35 years experience). These roles are focused on implementation, infrastructure support, and execution of network projects within a large enterprise, multi-site environment. Role Summary Consulting is seeking a mid-level network engineer to support manufacturing and infrastructure projects. The resource will focus on wireless deployment, LAN/WAN support, and site-level implementation across a large enterprise environment, working under the guidance of senior engineering resources. Core Responsibilities Support deployment and optimization of enterprise and manufacturing Wi-Fi environments using Cisco Catalyst Wireless platforms Assist with implementation of wireless access points (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7) in enterprise and high-density environments Troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues including roaming, onboarding, and coverage gaps Support Layer 2 network operations including switch provisioning, stacking, patching (fiber/copper), and hardware refresh activities Assist with Layer 3 support across enterprise environments (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) Execute network device refresh tasks including installation and configuration of switches and infrastructure components Utilize Cisco Catalyst Center for device provisioning, basic troubleshooting, and inventory management Assist in maintaining network documentation and configuration standards Work with project teams and site personnel to support deployments and maintenance activities Required Skills (Must-Have) (Final Version) Certification / Core Networking CCNA certification (preferred) OR equivalent hands-on experience in enterprise network environments Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching) Wireless Fundamentals Experience deploying or supporting Cisco wireless environments Understanding of Wi-Fi concepts (coverage, onboarding, roaming, interference) LAN / Switching Experience with Cisco switches (Catalyst) Knowledge of VLANs, trunking, and basic switch configuration Hands-on experience with cabling, patching, and hardware installs Routing Fundamentals Basic understanding of EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP Ability to support Layer 3 connectivity and troubleshooting with guidance Cisco Tooling Exposure to Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center) or similar tools Implementation Skills Experience supporting network deployments, upgrades, or refresh projects Ability to follow implementation plans and work within change control processes Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) Experience in manufacturing or plant environments Exposure to wireless surveys or AP placement validation Familiarity with network cleanup tasks (VLANs, ACLs) Basic exposure to voice platforms (CUCM, CER, Unity) Experience Level Mid-level (35 years) network engineering experience Experience supporting enterprise network environments Strong focus on implementation and troubleshooting, not architecture Key Platforms & Tools Cisco Catalyst Wireless Controllers Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center) Cisco routing and switching platforms Thanks & Regards Dhruv Yadav Technical Recruiter Email: [email protected] LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dhruv-yadav-7a601b203/ -- Keywords: information technology purchase order card North Carolina Wisconsin Network Engineer Manufacturing & Wireless Infrastructure || Winston-Salem, NC as onsite requirement is 4-5x a week [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=3422639&uid=2c4c29e0f16546a292f81d910f682629 |
