Position: Infor System Administrator Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ month contract Job Description: DESCRIPTION Essential Duties and Responsibilities Software installation (primarily in windows environments), User Setup across Infor applications, Company setup, VRC and Package Combination creation, maintenance & performance tuning of LN application. In addition, this position will perform high level monitoring of the Infor environment. System maintenance, and uptime related tasks (patching, testing) proactive monitoring (jobs/logs/interfaces, etc.) LN company creation and company data refresh within and across environments for data migration PMC/patch deployment software configuration management Configure and Manage Infor Document Management LN UI / Mingle administration Setup up ION alerts, monitors and Workflows Monitoring ION Grid and ION Error BODs Managing certificate renewals for Infor OS/Infor applications Work to improve the systems and processes currently in place by researching and analyzing the current environment and put forth recommendations and products to improve the overall environment Audit management to enable transaction log/tracing Provide technical and functional consultation, document procedures and support other team members Qualifications: At least 3+ years of Infor ION /Infor OS administration Demonstrates knowledge Infor LN Tools Administration and Databases with hands-on experience in On-prem Infor OS administration like ION, IDM, Factory Track etc., Infor LN technical expertise in system administration and support is mandatory Demonstrates knowledge in overall Infor ERP Architecture. Thorough understanding of BSE / file structure Demonstrates experience in LN Upgrades includes Tools, Porting set, Patch installation. Good knowledge of roles and responsibilities within LN including AMS and DEM Ability to provide solutions and suggest best practices in LN/Infor OS Administration. Ability to solve complex systems problems quickly with little technical guidance, and develop corrective measures Infor LN technical expertise in system administration and support Candidates with other Infor platform system administration experience may also be considered Clear and complete knowledge on latest tools and porting set binaries very strong technical ability, strong judgment, and problem analysis techniques Working knowledge of the Windows server operating system and SQL Server databases Demonstrates expertise with SQL queries, performance fine-tuning Demonstrates analytical skills with excellent data collection and analysis in performing root cause analysis. Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, understanding priorities and resolving issues in a timely manner Strong interpersonal & communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment is critical Ability to think abstractly and deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems Demonstrates technical documentation, verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills. Obsession with quality, operational excellence, and customer experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science / MIS / business administration or a related discipline, with a minimum of 6 years prior related experience Working knowledge of LN Extensions, custom BOD/BDE development and other integration experience is highly desired Advanced Microsoft office skills Demonstrated proficiency with Java, C++, or similar modern programming languages Experience taking a leading role in building complex software system. Extensive object-oriented design and coding skills Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and databases Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent; or six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
