About the Role: We are seeking a highly analytical Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to drive the automation, scalability, and performance optimization of our cloud-native platforms. Reporting to the Site Reliability Engineer, you will own the end-to-end DevOps lifecycle in a large-scale enterprise environment. You will design resilient CI/CD pipelines, automate secure infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation, and manage containerized workloads in Kubernetes. This role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead cloud security, implement proactive Datadog telemetry, and deliver cost-optimization strategies while collaborating with global technical teams. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Automation: Architect and deploy automated, highly available infrastructure via IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation. CI/CD Engineering: Design, implement, and maintain secure build-and-release pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS CodePipeline. Workload Containerization: Manage, scale, and orchestrate container images natively inside Docker and multi-node Kubernetes clusters. Telemetry & Observability: Configure comprehensive system monitoring, logging, and performance dashboard integrations across Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana. Systems Administration: Perform advanced Linux Administration tasks, troubleshoot complex environment bottlenecks, and write custom Python and Bash automation scripts. Security & Availability: Enforce AWS security best practices, administer IAM granular permissions, secure network topologies inside VPC, and provide critical support during operational outages. Essential Skills: Mandatory Cloud Certification: Valid, active AWS Certified Solutions Architect credential. Advanced IaC & Pipeline Depth: Proven success building zero-downtime integration pipelines and codifying global infrastructure blueprints from scratch. Linux & Container Mastery: Direct hands-on background managing Linux system internals alongside container tracking and deployment patterns. Desirable Skills: Database & Serverless Acumen: Familiarity with MySQL/PostgreSQL maintenance, serverless script executions via AWS Lambda, and multi-cloud environment operations.
