Job Title: SAP ABAP / Senior SAP Technical Consultant Location: Plano, TX Duration: (Contract) Experience Required: 8+ Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Application Developer / Senior SAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in ABAP, SAP S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, and System Integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable SAP technical solutions while collaborating closely with functional teams to deliver high-quality business solutions. Key Responsibilities Core ABAP Development Design, develop, and enhance WRICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows). Develop custom programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements using SAP ABAP. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards. SAP S/4HANA Development Develop and optimize solutions using Core Data Services (CDS Views). Build and maintain ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP). Utilize Open SQL and HANA push-down capabilities for optimal system performance. Optimize custom developments for SAP HANA architecture. SAP Fiori & UI5 Development Design, deploy, and customize SAP Fiori applications. Develop and consume OData Services using SAP Gateway. Enhance standard SAP Fiori applications to improve user experience. Support SAP UI5 development and frontend customization. System Integration Develop integrations between SAP S/4HANA and third-party applications. Build and support REST and SOAP API integrations. Work with standard SAP integration protocols and middleware technologies. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements. Prepare technical design specifications and feasibility assessments. Participate in Agile development ceremonies and sprint planning. Quality Assurance & Support Conduct unit testing and support integration testing activities. Participate in performance tuning and optimization exercises. Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues. Support deployment activities and post-production stabilization. Required Skills SAP ABAP SAP S/4HANA CDS Views AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) Open SQL SAP Fiori SAP UI5 OData Services SAP Gateway WRICEF Development REST APIs SOAP APIs System Integration Agile Methodology SAP Technical Design & Development Required Qualifications 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience. Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori, ABAP, and System Integration. Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA development frameworks. At least one end-to-end SAP implementation/deployment using Agile methodology. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Automotive or Financial Services domains. Knowledge of SAP BTP and modern SAP extension frameworks. Exposure to SAP Cloud Integration technologies.
