About the Role: We are seeking a highly accomplished Java Technical Lead & Production Support Manager to drive application development enhancements while governing our high-severity production infrastructure. In this hybrid technical lead capacity, you will translate product storyboards into scalable, secure server-side software using Java and Spring Boot. Simultaneously, you will take absolute engineering ownership of /L3 production support pipelines, overseeing real-time incident responses, database query optimizations, and cross-border release activities. You will lead onshore-offshore technical squads to guarantee system sustainability, eliminate operational defects, and ensure complete alignment with strict enterprise SLA targets. Key Responsibilities: Application Design & Engineering: Translate product use cases into scalable, secure applications; write efficient, reusable Java code following strict OOP principles. API Development & Integration: Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data integration between front-end interfaces and back-end systems. Production Support Governance: Manage /L3 production support operations for critical apps, resolving incidents within SLA timelines and driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Database & Query Optimization: Write and tune complex SQL and PL/SQL objects, collaborating with Database Administrators on indexing and database performance tuning. Telemetry & System Monitoring: Monitor system logs and batch jobs using tools like Splunk, ELK Stack, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace; participate in on-call rotations and weekend deployments. Process & Release Management: Enforce strict adherence to SDLC milestones, formal change management workflows, and automated code deployments using Git, Maven, and Jenkins. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and coordinate task deliveries between onshore and offshore engineering resources and multi-disciplinary stakeholders. Essential Skills: Advanced Java & Spring Mastery: Deep hands-on development background building enterprise web applications with Java (up to version 17) and the Spring ecosystem. Relational Database Competency: Authoritative capability designing, debugging, and tuning relational models inside Oracle Database environments.
