We have an immediate opening for the below position with one of our premium clients Job title: Maximo SME (Subject Matter Expert) Work Location: Houston, TX (Day One onsite) Duration : Long Term Minimum years of experience: 8+ years Interview: Webex Hire Job Description: Closely work with cloud migration team on the Environment sizing, architectural decisions and other migration related activities to successfully migrate to cloud. Acts as the first contact and works closely with Azure migration team to migrate the on-premise Maximo instances to Cloud. Closely work with integration teams (Middleware and external applications) in configuring/setting up the interfaces in cloud. Installing Maximo and deploy in WebSphere application server. Using WebSphere application knowledge to configure /tune WebSphere settings for Maximo applications. Develop, configure, and customize Maximo Integration components using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) to publish / import data to / from interfacing applications. Serve as focal from Maximo throughout all phases of deployments (Demo, UAT, site readiness, deployment, stabilization). Perform and lead Data load and Data Migration activities. Collaborates with Technical Consultants and Analysts to ensure the deliverables and schedules are achieved Closely work with business and support integration, regression testing and UAT prior to project Go-Live. Collaborates with the project team to ensure the deliverables and schedules are achieved. Customer collaboration on migration and discovery workshops and documentation. Mentoring junior members of the technical/migration team. Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team. Provide effective knowledge transfer and upskilling to relevant customer personnel to ensure an appropriate level of future self-sufficiency. Transition of projects to Version 1 Managed Services teams or customer support teams.
