Position: Senior Design Quality Engineer with Medical Device Experience Location:: Raynham, MA (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite) Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Design Quality Engineer to join our Lifecycle Management organization. This role is responsible for maintaining products across Sports Medicine and Soft Tissue Repair portfolios while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment that embraces teamwork, change, risk-based decision-making, and innovation. This position requires close collaboration with Product Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to support product and process changes, risk management activities, product testing, and design control compliance. Key Responsibilities: Support design and process changes for existing medical devices. Conduct Process Verification and Validation activities. Perform Design and Process FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis). Execute risk management and product testing activities. Ensure compliance with Design Controls and Quality System requirements. Lead and support CAPA, nonconforming material investigations, and quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance. Provide technical leadership and drive project execution across multiple priorities. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a Technical or Scientific discipline. 5+ years of experience in the Medical Device industry. Experience conducting Process Verifications and Validations. Experience with Design and/or Process FMEA. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive project execution. Design Quality Engineering experience. Design Control experience. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree preferred. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Bioengineering. New Product Development (NPD) experience. Experience with blueprint reading, inspection methodologies, and GD&T.
