Title: AWS Administrator Type: Contract Location: Remote (Indianapolis, IN) Start Date: ASAP End Date: 6 months Visa: No h1b, cpt, tn Description The AWS Administrator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and configuring various AWS-based systems and infrastructure which support strategic initiatives and projects. The AWS Administrator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and configuring various AWS-based systems and infrastructure which support strategic initiatives and projects. You will execute the building of new systems, maintaining current systems, and working with other DevOps teams using standard processes, application management, and maintenance of documentation and standard operating procedures. Provide support mainly in AWS services such as EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, VPC, ECS, RDS, and Application Load Balancer. Provide support for Linux running in AWS (Amazon Linux and CentOS). Be open to learning and supporting applications running in AWS such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Azure Active Directory User Management. Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Interact with internal and external teams nationally to provide services and resolve issues. Configure and remediate cloud security configurations. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and application problems. Take part in the planning and deployment of cloud-based solutions. Research new technologies to provide solutions to business needs. Deploy new software, upgrades, and fixes within all environments. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Periodic after-hours support as needed. Performs other duties as assigned Skill Matrix Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of systems and applications hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Required 5 Years Experience maintaining Linux systems Required 5 Years Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) frameworks and best practices Required Completion of secondary education Required Ability to work with others in a collaborative team environment Required Experience writing process requirements, technical design documents, and standard operating procedures Required Strong troubleshooting and communication skills are requiredRequired Highly motivated, self-starter that has a strong desire to learn Required AWS Certified highly preferred Highly desired Experience with Python Highly desired Thanks and Regards Divya Pahwa Technical Recruiter | ConvexTech Inc.
