Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (Vanilla JS), Express/Fastify/NestJS. Experience building enterprise REST APIs, event-driven APIs, and system integrations. Strong knowledge of Azure (Azure Functions, AKS/Container Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid). Experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, distributed systems, and API-first design. Strong understanding of REST, OpenAPI, messaging, queues, resiliency, error handling, retry/fallback strategies. Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and leading technical discussions. Familiarity with CI/CD, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with architects, business teams, and implementation vendors.Preferred Skills: Experience with Java, C#/.NET, Go, or Rust. Knowledge of MuleSoft/TIBCO or other integration platforms. Experience with observability, API security, DevSecOps, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot). Key Note: Candidate will lead the modernization of the enterprise integration platform by replacing the existing MuleSoft integration layer with a JavaScript/Node.js-based endpoint-to-endpoint API architecture, while ensuring implementation vendors follow engineering best practices.
