[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Senior DevSec Ops Engineer Location: Charleston, SC (50% onsite work close by resources preferred) Duration: Long term Rate: Open U S Citizen Must have an Active TS/SCI Security Clearance Duties and Responsibilities: The Engineer will be working with a team of Cloud Engineers and Cybersecurity professionals to develop and deploy scalable security evaluation software with an onsite lab. Must understand cloud-based system architectures and micro services. Able to work within a team or capable of working independently to integrate new COTS and FOSS products into a DevOps environment with OpenShift and Docker as core technologies. This individual will work with a multi-disciplinary team to design and implement future improvements to increase scalability, automation, and enhance deployment processes. Experience Level: At least Fifteen (15) years of experience in relevant technical field, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C5ISR requirements. Recognized as an expert of task specific project. Qualifications: Experience with modern software development life cycle processes (ex. Scrum, Kanban, lean principles) Experience with API gateways and service meshes Experience containerizing and deploying applications to cloud-based solutions (ex. Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes) Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, and Ansible Proficiency with CI/CD automation (ex. Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Git) Experience using and integrating software security evaluation tools (ex. Prisma, Fortify, Twistlock) Experience engaging with customers and end users to address issues, provide system guidance and documentation Ability to work within a team environment at an onsite lab DoD 8570 IAT II certification such as Security+, GICSP, GSEC, CCNA Security Bachelor's in Computer/Software or Masters degree in a STEM Field Desired Experience: Strong experience designing AWS solutions (ideally in a classified environment) Experience with Cross Domain Solution Experience with DoD environment Automation of AWS services like EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, etc. Experience with cloud infrastructure design (not just deployment or implementation experience) Experience with system architecture, Cloud computing, and micro services and Nano services architecture Thanks, Ram Global IT Solutions USI Inc.
