Role: Project Manager

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Louisville, KY

Rate: $55/hr on C2C

Due to less rates, Junior Project Manager is good

The Project Manager manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Project Manager designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing the project; monitors progress and performance against the project plan; takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the project. They should possess specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects. Prepares designs and work specifications; develops project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project. Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. They should possess specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5+ years of technical project management experience

Project management, scrum master certification

Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
