Job description:- This engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks while continuing to perform hands-on manual testing. The position focuses on testing Java-based applications, REST APIs, web applications, and both SQL and NoSQL data stores using Selenium, Playwright, Karate, TestNG, and related automation tools. Candidates should have at least 5 years of software testing experience, strong Java programming skills, experience with Agile/Scrum, and familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with RestAssured, Oracle, DevOps practices, and basic Angular UI testing are beneficial. The ideal candidate is a hands-on QA automation engineer who is comfortable switching between manual and automated testing rather than someone who only builds automation frameworks. The highest priorities are recent Java experience, REST API testing, and practical experience across multiple automation frameworksespecially Selenium, Playwright, and Karate. This team values engineers who can collaborate closely with developers, participate in defect triage and release validation, and help improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle in a fast-paced Agile environment.
