Relocation accepted. Overview Join a team building Amazons Global Risk Audit Management - Transportation (GRAM-T). The team builds AI-powered solutions and integrated platforms to enable proactive risk management across international transportation and operational segments. You will design and implement highly available, scalable distributed systems, work with complex data models, and collaborate with global internal and external partners. Key Responsibilities Architect, design, and develop large-scale distributed systems and services. Build highly available and scalable platforms to support audit and risk management use cases across transportation domains. Collaborate with product, operations, and global partners to drive technical solutions and business direction. Drive code quality via code reviews, tests, and best practices across the full software development lifecycle. Anticipate and mitigate bottlenecks and escalations to deliver production-grade systems quickly. Must-haves / Requirements Must meet Export Control requirements for government-related work candidate cannot require sponsorship now or in the future. 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship). Experience in system design/architecture (design patterns, reliability, scaling). Experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded or distributed applications. Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, or TypeScript (Java commonly used on the team). Strong object-oriented design skills and experience with design/architecture of systems. Preferred Experience with AI/ML-enabled systems (AI is a nice-to-have). 3+ years of full SDLC experience including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing and operations. Familiarity with C#, C++, Perl is helpful (per job qualifications list). Other Notes Role is onsite in Nashville; relocation assistance is accepted. Candidates with prior Amazon experience are acceptable, though earlier communications referenced preferences that have since been relaxed. Export control compliance is required due to government-related work.
