BI / Tableau Developer Location: Madison, WI (100% Remote) Interview: Webcam (MS Teams) Contract Length: 6+ months Visa: USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4EAD Our client, the Wisconsin Employee Trust Funds (ETF), is looking for a Tableau Developer to be primarily involved in business intelligence including Tableau development and administration but will also participate in user interface development for our Master Data Management (MDM) solution. Tasks Design Tableau dashboards following best practices including visual design principles. Gather and document business requirements. Provide ideas for dashboards aligning with high-level requirements and work iteratively with business partners to refine requirements to deliver the final product. Participate in the development of Tableau standards and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables. Perform testing to certify Tableau dashboards for production use. Develop queries to execute in the data lake platform and automate data extracts from other data sources. Provide direction and mentoring to analysts on Tableau development, dashboard usability, and design best practices. Perform Tableau site administration including organization, optimization, tuning, and ensuring the security of data using Tableau Server. Provide user interface development and testing with Semarchy (MDM). Knowledge and Abilities Required: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence others and to interact with individuals at all levels Experience working productively with cross-functional working groups and across organizational layers with consideration for organizational priorities Ability to develop and deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to develop strong knowledge and understanding of business needs while establishing/maintaining a high level of customer trust and confidence NOTE: This position is open to 100% remote or in the office.
