I work for Sibitalent Corp and were looking to hire. JOB TITLE: Sr Splunk Administrator Visa :: No opt, cpt or H1B LOCATION: Owings Mills, MD (2 days onsite, 3 days remote. Must be onsite day 1) DESCRIPTION: global financial company in the Owings Mills, MD area that is looking to hire a Sr Splunk Administrator for the Reliability Ops team within the Technology Services Operations Enablement group. The Reliability Ops team supports observability and developer productivity platforms. The Sr Splunk Administrator will be responsible for supporting Splunk Enterprise, including managing Windows and Linux servers, automating through Ansible, and coordinating the migration of on-premises hardware to AWS. RESPONSIBILITIES: Support onboarding and maintenance of logs to Splunk from windows, Linux, and cloud-based sources Support platform upgrades including coordinating testing of upgrades with users of the platform Automating manual platform management processes through Ansible or other scripting tools/languages Troubleshooting incidents impacting the Splunk platform on RedHat Linux Evaluate the use and integration of third-party add-ons Coordinating and collaboration with users of the platform Develop training and documentation materials Executing disaster recovery playbooks Perform on call rotation, every 4 weeks REQUIREMENTS: 8+ years of overall IT experience 4 years experience managing and configuring Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues Able to demonstrate experience supporting technical users and conduct requirements analysis Experience with IT Service Management and familiarity with Incident & Problem management Experience with Splunk clustered deployment topology Experience with Linux and Windows agents for Splunk administration Experience in onboarding new data, configuration, creating new dashboards, and extracting information through Splunk Experience with writing or modifying custom Splunk add-ons Demonstrates proficiency with scripting and automation (bash, python, other programming languages) Familiarity with Splunk rest APIs PREFERED SKILLS: Experience with Ansible tower automations Experience using Gitlab, large platform migration efforts Experience with AWS OpenSearch Splunk Certification (Admin or Architect) Thanks & Regards, Shreya Bhandari Sr. Technical Recruiter Phone:+1 (936) 287-8005 E-Mail:[email protected] Website:www.sibitalent.com Keywords: information technology Maryland http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=357934&uid= |
