The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions across complex enterprise applications. The role also requires experience supporting Tosca installations, upgrades, patches, distributed environments, and integration with test-management and CI/CD tools. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca. Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and manual test cases to identify automation opportunities. Create reusable Tosca Modules, TestCases, TestCase Design structures, ExecutionLists, and test-data components. Develop end-to-end automated test scenarios covering web, desktop, API, database, and enterprise applications. Maintain existing Tosca automation scripts and update them based on application or business-process changes. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and end-to-end testing. Execute automated test suites, analyze results, identify failures, and coordinate defect resolution. Troubleshoot automation issues related to object identification, synchronization, test data, environments, and application changes. Support Tosca installation, configuration, administration, upgrades, patches, and version-management activities. Manage or support Tosca Live Update processes across developer, test, and execution environments. Assess upgrade impacts and ensure compatibility among Tosca Commander, Tosca Server, repositories, Distributed Execution components, and supporting infrastructure. Coordinate Tosca client and server updates across automation teams. Validate automation suites following Tosca upgrades, patches, or configuration changes. Support multiuser workspaces, common repositories, user access, check-in and check-out processes, and workspace synchronization. Configure and support Distributed Execution and remote test-execution environments. Integrate Tosca automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and test-management platforms. Work with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jira, and Tricentis qTest. Develop and maintain API automation using Tosca API Scan. Perform database validation and backend testing where required. Create and manage test data for automated test execution. Document automation standards, reusable components, execution procedures, upgrade processes, and troubleshooting guidelines. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, manual testers, product owners, and project managers. Participate in test planning, estimation, defect triage, release validation, and production-readiness activities. Provide technical guidance and best practices to other automation team members. Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, execution speed, test stability, and maintainability. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca automation. Experience creating and maintaining Tosca Modules, TestCases, ExecutionLists, and reusable automation components. Experience with Tosca TestCase Design and data-driven testing. Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Experience automating web, desktop, API, database, or enterprise applications. Experience supporting Tosca Live Update, upgrades, patches, installations, or version-management activities. Understanding of Tosca Commander, Tosca Server, common repositories, workspaces, and multiuser environments. Experience troubleshooting Tosca automation and environment-related issues. Experience with Distributed Execution or remote automated-test execution. Knowledge of CI/CD processes and automated-test execution through deployment pipelines. Experience integrating Tosca with Jira, qTest, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar tools. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and the software development lifecycle. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with business, development, testing, infrastructure, and release-management teams.
