Design and configure SAS internal folder structures to facilitate user access and provisioning. creating and running Linux scripts and jobs as necessary for Server provisioning and administration. Perform Server patching and maintenance as necessary. Provide management reports from both the SAS server and the Linux OS upon request. Strong knowledge and practice implementing standard security policies and procedures for both SAS Server and SAS clients. Regularly provision access for SAS users and accessible resources (data sets and database connections) Good experience in working with Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. Effective communication, presentation, & organizational skills. Familiar with Project Management methodologies. Ability to create and execute written project plans Ability to establish priorities & follow through on projects, paying close attention to detail with minimal supervision. Required Education: BS/BA degree (in computer science or related field) or combination of education & experience Knowledge on leveraging SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server data access engines. Strong UNIX skills to include SSH, SCP, SFTP and VI editor. UNIX and scripting experience required.
