Job Description: Title: Sr. Network & Firewall Engineer Client: Hitachi Location: Remote Duration: 6 +Months Networking & Firewall Layer 3 (eBGP Routing, OSPF Routing) DNS understanding (Nameservers, Route53) Networking (iBGP, VRFs. VLANs, QoS), Networking (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Cisco Nexus) Systems >7 to 8 years experience in Networking & Firewall in Data Center environment -Ability to design, configure and implement Routing and Switching technologies, MPLS/SD-WAN, Network Security, Data Center networks firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, load balancers, WAAS/ WAF and Proxy. -In depth knowledge and experience in IP addressing, subnetting, routing protocols (i.e. OSPF, eBGP, EIGRP, etc.) -In depth knowledge and experience in DNS understanding (Nameservers, Route53) Networking (iBGP, VRFs. VLANs, QoS), Networking (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Cisco Nexus) Systems -Experience on cloud technologies to design and implement Firewalls, Gateway, Load Balancers, on AWS and Azure -Firewall Technologies from Cisco/Palo Alto/Fortinet/Checkpoint -Project focus is on Data Center Migration utilizing Data Replication technologies.
