Role name : Senior Security Engineer New York, NY Duration: Contract Role Description - Technical hands-on capability and proven record of accomplishment of performing vulnerability assessments, remediating vulnerabilities / patching, and working with advanced anti-malware. - Ability to work in a mixed operating system environment consisting of Windows, MacOS, and Linux. - Knowledge and experience working with Tenable and Crowdstrike product suites. - Interpret vulnerabilities and apply a risk-based approach to remediation. - Knowledgeable of current attack trends facing enterprises and the ability to apply / recommend appropriate mitigations. - Can articulate risk to non-technical stakeholders and work towards the best path to remediate complex issues. - Ability to triage and respond to advances anti-malware alerts. Work with peers and system owners to bring alerts to completion. - Ability to review, recommend, and apply system level patches during scheduled timeframes. - Ability to identify technical debt within an enterprise and work to apply mitigating controls to reduce security risks.
