Position: Oracle Functional Consultant Duration: 6 months (Ext) Location: Richardson, TX (Remote) Job Description: Managing Business Consultant Oracle WMS & ASCP Lead Requirement Summary: - Design and configure all aspects of Oracle WMS & ASCP implementation. Develop systems requirements, design, prototype, implement, androllout solutions. Write and maintain precise, concise functional and technical specifications for Oracle application and business system processes. Engage in project communications with clients using a consultative approach. Anticipate obstacles and recommend solution options as they relate to the solution. Focus on client value and satisfaction while balancing corporate objectives, feasibility, and scalability of the solution. Design and implement custom reports using Oracle reporting tools to address company needs and improve the frequency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting. Work and coordinate with other project team members and business users as needed. Produce and deliver documentation for design, training, and application administration. Operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Demonstrate expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions on highly complex customer engagements. Effectively consult with the management of customer organizations. Gain client acceptance of the implemented solution. Fully comprehend client requirements and translate them into implementable solutions using leading Oracle practices and processes, avoiding customizations wherever possible. Define and adhere to *** solution standards, estimates, processes, policies, and procedures. Familiar with other departments methodologies including project management and development Methodologies. Mandatory Skills, Certifications, and Experience 10+ years of Oracle ERP WMS & ASCP-related experience designing, configuring and architecting all aspects of ERP. In-depth functional understanding of WMS functionality which includes Inbound Logistics, Outbound Logistics, Reverse Logistics, and Value-Added Services. Good knowledge of Cross Docking and Wave Planning Processes. Able to Configure Put away and Picking Rules. Good Knowledge of Label configuration and Label Printing. Experience with Mobile Supply Chain Applications is Required. Oracle ASCP Module experience is required. Configure ASCP Plans, EBS Data collections, and EBS Item attributes for Planning. Good understanding of analyzing plan results in Unconstrained and EDD Constrained setup. In-Depth Knowledge of Master data setup & Processes for ASCP/WMS implementation. Involvement with a minimum of five (5) full life cycle Oracle WMS and/or ASCP implementations. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with experience in troubleshooting issues for ERP clients. Strong analytical skills and ability to think in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
