Responsible for architecting and designing solutions that meet business requirements in support of a given initiative. Partner with key roles (e.g. project managers) to create solutions aligned to architecture standards and leverage common services to meet the financial targets Responsible for solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions, and early-phase project estimates which contribute to a business case. Partner with Infrastructure Architects and other functional leads to design reference architectures based on specific constraints, requirements, and dependencies. Maintain and prioritize project workload among team members. Oversee standards from building run-books and detailed implementation plans Work continuously with the Network Operations Line Manager to ensure that ongoing and planned implementations are operationally sound and communicate any potential impact or risks to the production network. Help to drive network improvements and standardization for the network environments in both the Data Centers, Campus and Remote Branch Offices Capacity management of network infrastructure Ensure that plans for the network integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure Assist in providing production support for incidents / problems escalated from Network Operations team. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of network infrastructure required for new projects. Creates and maintains written documentation and diagrams for supported systems. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Technical or engineering, or computer science or equivalent experience. 10 years of experience supporting computer networks in a mission-critical environment. 5 years managing a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting real-time market data and trading. Certification and/or training with vendor-neutral or vendor-specific focus. Basic understanding of operating system administration (Windows and Linux). Basic scripting and automation. Organized and methodical testing skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Tagged Systems: OS: Linux& Windows.
