The Department of Elections (ELECT) assists local government entities by providing security standards for elections offices to implement and report on annually. These standards are known as the Locality Election Security Standards (LESS). This contractor will work for the ELECT Privacy Officer, with full-time focus on the LESS program including program development, documentation and implementation, while conducting a risk-focused review of locality reports and analysis of potential security solutions. This individual would be involved in multiple activities requiring a high degree of security expertise and technical agility to include assessing and reporting on LESS submissions from localities, remediation planning with localities in addition to considering, researching and developing implementation plans for technology solutions that can rapidly secure potential vulnerabilities.
