The Software Engineer will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to: Developing and deploying Python based scripts to download data Conduct peer reviews with other engineers Participating and being an advocate for issue resolution and change control processes Working closely with business leaders to understand strategic and financial objectives and then translating them into technical specifications and applications Leading and participating in architecture and design meetings for major components and sub-systems Assisting manager with defining and estimating project task effort and required resources Recommending and driving best practices, standards, processes and tools Other duties as assigned The Software Engineer must have the following skills and experience to perform this job effectively: 5+ years developing Python solutions for enterprise business problems 3+ years working with a relational database 3+ years working with a NoSQL database Demonstrated proficiency with design patterns and SOA architectures Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong, problem solving and analytical capabilities Good interpersonal, conflict resolution and customer service skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team to develop solutions Professional maturity in dealing with all levels of management and staff Experience with full life cycle of projects from establishing requirements through delivery and production support Ability to demonstrate a strong character established through a strong work ethic Ability to be accountable, take ownership, and be held accountable for decisions as demonstrated through everyday work situations Preferred Skills: Experience working in a production environment Demonstrated security software development training Familiarity with automated testing tools and regression testing Experience with open source tools and technologies Regards, Sam Young, Manager-Sales, (Best way to reach me is Email.)
