Below is the job role and skills. General: Day-to-day Middleware product administration, operational maintenance and support for workloads on-premise data center and cloud. For example: creating and modifying instances for Apache web server, Tomcat, WebLogic, and JBoss instances, the renewal of SSL certificates for applications, MW software product patching, strong puppet configuration and automation. And support for application migration to FannieMaes platform on AWS. 1: Strong skills on installation, configuration, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning and Production Support for Middleware platforms such as Tomcat, Jboss, and Apache web server in enterprise cluster environments on Linux Unix platforms. 2: Strong skills in Production issue Root Cause Analysis, analyze Production incident/issues and identify the root cause, and find the permanent solutions; Analyze the application thread hung issue and out of memory issue and find the root cause; resolve the incident/issues escalated by L1 team. 3: Strong experience in web server and application server SSL digital Certificates managements for Apache WebServer, Weblogic 12c, Tomcat 8.x + and Jboss 7.x + application servers. 4: Strong experience in Incidents, change and service request processes. 5: Strong experience in Linux OS administration and command line , Unix scripting and Perl programming to automate Middleware Tomcat/JBOSS/Apache WebServer platform management, systems administration, and monitoring tasks. 6: Good knowledge and experience in Java programming, experience with Java Code Management is desired and a plus. 7: Strong knowledge and experience in automation middleware management process using Puppet, or Terraform, Jenkins, AWS CloudFormation, AWS native service and products like Elasticache Redis, Kinesis, S3, EC2, ALB, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Monitoring, Alerting, etc. 8: Good experience in RDBM database and PL/SQL such as Oracle, Sybase and MS SQL Server, using PL/SQL and JDBC data sources. Tuning and troubleshooting SQL and JDBC connection pool, JDBC leak, database deadlock and database blocking session performance issues.
