I work for Sibitalent Corp and were looking to hire. Senior Technology Consultant: Infrastructure, Network, Security, Cloud with a Property Investment firm in San Francisco, CA. This is a 12+ month contract assignment with the potential to be extended. Position is on-site 4 days per week. Must be hands on, with prior experience as a team-lead or infrastructure architect. GC or Citizens only Must have outstanding communication skills Key Responsibilities: Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to the organization and its customers: Develop and implement the company's technology strategy, including the identification and adoption of new technologies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Hands on management of technology infrastructure, network operations, information security, and windows-based Cloud environment. Work closely with the head of technology on the budget and resources of the IT department, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support the organization's goals and objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with key technology vendors and partners. Stay current on industry trends and technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the organization. Design, implement, monitor, and maintain the organization's server infrastructure. This includes: Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, including Windows Server 2016/2019 Install, configure, and maintain VMWare-based virtualization systems. Monitor the performance of the server infrastructure and take corrective action as needed Ensure the security of the servers by implementing security measures and responding to security incidents Keep up-to-date with the latest Windows updates and features Provide technical support to end users as needed Responsible for ensuring the security and the organization's information system and data: Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards Monitor and respond to security incidents, including cyber-attacks and data breaches Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends Provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders Facilitate internal and external penetration tests and threat mitigation. Hands-on experience with platforms such as AlienVault, Qualys, Mimecast etc Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure and ensuring its stability, security, and performance Design, implement, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points Ensure the stability, security, and performance of the network infrastructure by regularly monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting any issues Plan, coordinate, and execute software and hardware upgrades to the network infrastructure Manage the implementation of network security policies, including firewalls, access controls, and data encryption Collaborate with other IT teams to support and integrate network infrastructure into overall IT systems and solutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's Azure cloud computing environment. Provision and deploy Azure resources as per project requirements Monitor and optimize the performance of Azure services Manage the security and compliance of Azure environment Implement Azure-based disaster recovery and business continuity solutions Manage and resolve incidents and problems in the Azure environment Collaborate with development teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based applications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in managing all aspects of IT infrastructure, Information Security, network operations and cloud. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and networking technologies.
