AWS Solutions Architect Location: Linthicum, MD 21090 100% Onsite Monday to Friday Candidate Requirement: Must reside in the DMV area Interview: In-person at Linthicum, Maryland Experience: 10+ Years Certification: At least one relevant AWS certification required LinkedIn Required! Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems. 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 6+ years in solution architecture, system design, and data management. 5+ years of direct supervision and management of major IT projects involving large, complex system integration, implementation, and transition. Proven experience as a Data Architect designing and implementing AWS cloud data solutions. Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, data lake architecture, and big data technologies. Expertise in data modeling, data governance, and data security. Experience designing data integration solutions and optimizing data processing performance. Background in data and AI/ML projects. Must have served as a lead or chief architect on major IT implementation efforts. Strong project management, leadership, mentoring, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to work with product owners, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders. Broad understanding of enterprise IT environments and architecture solutions. Experience with local or government projects in any of the following areas: Data Services (MDM/R360/EDMS) Child Support Integrated Eligibility Child Welfare Adult Protective Services Juvenile Justice Health and Human Services Required Certification Candidates must hold at least one of the following: AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty AWS Certified Big Data Education Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Masters degree preferred.
