Role- MSSQL Database Admin Location: NJ (Remote) Duration-6 Months The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Installation and Maintenance of MS SQL server (2014 2019) SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Group installation/maintenance/troubleshooting Azure SQL Server/Database maintenance/troubleshooting SQL Server Backup and Restore SQL Server Performance Tuning - Troubleshooting, Performance Monitoring and Tuning Security, User Management and linked servers Daily Maintenance activities SQL Server TDE Encryption & Decryption Documentation of Runbooks/Procedures Enforce SOX standards, Compliance and Audits Collaborate with Offshore DBA teams Work Experience and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with the above responsibilities. Expert level T-SQL programming skill is essential. Expert level Power skill is strongly desired. Experience with other scripting languages is nice to have.
