We need someone extremely polished, Around 5 years of experience. Stick between the 5-10 year mark for experience. They dont want a someone with 20+ years of experience. Certifications go a long way with this client. PMP or Cyber cert is not required but a big plus. Any previous Insurance Industry experience is not required but preferred. The experience should be within the last 5 years. They work in an Agile environment. Title: Cyber and Information Security Project Manager Notes from the CISO: Project Manager role tracking Cyber projects The Cyber & Information Project Manager will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer. The primary responsibilities will include coordinating and overseeing implementations related to Cyber & Information Security initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for collecting and documenting project requirements, tracking and reporting on initiatives, ensure timely completion of tasks, escalating issues and blockers in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvements and efficiencies in the project lifecycle. This person will must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills. Responsibilities: The Cyber & Information Security Project Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination and monitoring of Cyber & Information Security related projects and initiatives: Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions. Work with Senior IT Management to define implementation goals and roadmaps. Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items. Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes. Monitor progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements. Lead and facilitate team meetings; e.g., daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint review, backlog grooming, monthly team meetings, increment planning and retrospectives. Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing. Contribute to projects where needed, including analysis, testing, and documentation. Ensuring proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team. Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders. Requirements: 5+ years in a Project Management role. 5+ years in a Cybersecurity or IT focused Project Management role. Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. Experience using Jira and Confluence. Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver solutions. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Ability to work within a distributed cross-functional environment that employs agile principals and a team mentality. Exceptional ability to articulate difficult ideas and concepts through clear and concise verbal and/or written communication PMP, Scrum Master, Cyber Security Certs or other related designation desired. Experience working in cross-organizational teams. Written and verbal English communication skills. Will abide by departmental policies and procedures, including authority levels, to comply with C&Fs risk management controls.
