Works independently and is seen as a technical leader. Essential Responsibilities: Given general requirements/guidance, design/develop a Windows desktop application involving a simple UI, user input persistence, real-time serial/network I/O, and simple real-time charts Perform UI work including generation of software components for use in a VC++/MFC application Qualifications/Requirements: BS in Computer Science/Engineering Proven logic and analytical abilities Ten+ years programming experience and ownership of relevant Windows applications Extensive demonstrable experience with Visual studio development (C/C++, MFC, C#) on Windows platform Experience with Windows API/programming, serial/network I/O, UI design, charting, real-time applications Experience with independent work with attention to detail. Desired Characteristics: Good language and communication skills. Experience in user interface design and development. Experience in using source control systems such as TFS, Subversion, Git.
