Title:Windows Support Engineer Visa:No H1B/CPT/OPT Location:REMOTE Duartion:12+months Windows Support Engineer for our client, a large organization based out of Pennsylvania. They are seeking someone with experience in Active Directory, DNS, Unified Endpoint Management, and end user computing. Job Responsibilities Provide high level technical support for all computer and user-related needs including troubleshooting escalated desktop support issues, coordinating equipment installations, office upgrades and moves. Manage computer/network support within EUC relating to software and hardware problems reported by users. Maintain adequate knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to users. Oversee the addition and maintenance of users on the network; assigning application access, ensuring security, and maintaining their configurations are within standards. Assist in testing new and different software and hardware applications to analyze viability for system enhancement. Keep current on new developments and techniques in Information Technology in order to stay abreast of the changing network needs. Work under the direction of the Sr Desktop Engineering Manager to integrate applications on End-User hardware in addition to being able to analyze, recommend and evaluate new hardware, software and communication products for compatibility and applicability. Act as liaison with other IT support team members to resolve. Job Requirements Scripting ability to automate EUC functions Has the ability to design and execute EUC workflows. Knowledge of scripting languages Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and using Windows operating systems. Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and using Chrome operating system. Must have the ability to effectively communicate and interact with a wide range of users having different levels of computer expertise Ability to design workable solutions to problems in a timely manner. Working knowledge of workstation hardware and operating systems software including operating systems and hardware including Windows 7, 8, and 10, Microsoft office and ChromeOS. Minimum of 4 years of relevant IT management experience, preferably as an End User Computing Manage Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer preferred desirable.
