Familiaritywith technology and security concepts (AD, UNIX, ORACLE DB2 Platform Provisioning) Undergraduatedegree in related field or equivalent combination of training and experience Securityadministration experience preferred Strongclient relationship management skills - support line/help desk experience Analyticaland strong problem resolution skills Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills Duties andResponsibilities: Provide administrative access to technology platforms such as operatingsystems, databases, or infrastructure components within a productionenvironment. Perform administration on workstations (e.g., installing/uninstallingapplications, changing operating systems configuration and operating systemmaintenance). Execute privileged commands. Completes access security requests to grant, update or remove employeesand contractors systems access. For example, requests are for privileged accessand credentials. Analyzes the security impact of each request, identifies approvals neededand determines the appropriate approach to complete the request. Maintains effective service relationships with business units by keepingthem informed of the status of their access requests and tickets, and providesnon-technical answers to access questions. Meets team and departmental service levels and objectives. Resolves Tier 2 and 3 technical issues (simple to semi-complex innature) to determine root cause and implements corrective action. Recognizeswhen to escalate and uses it as an opportunity to increase knowledge andacumen. Accountable for meeting quality, productivity and service standards.Identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accessadministration processes and procedures. Applies risk management knowledge to improve efficiency andeffectiveness of access administration. Participates in project support relatedto access provisioning and improving current workflows. Ensures data integrity for access information that enables accurate identityand access management provisioning. Assists internal employees and contractors in increasing their awarenessof IAM policy and standards. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
