Solid understanding of access and distribution LAN switching environments with VLANs. Knowledge of firewall and switch configuration and troubleshooting. Knowledge of wireless LAN technologies. Exposure to virtualization technologies. Experience with common network services FTP, SNMP, Syslog, DNS, Active Directory is a plus. Ability to analyze network performance utilizing tools such as Wireshark. Strong documentation skills Ability to articulate and communicate network design and performance issues Desired Charactristics: Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Bachelors degree is a plus. Works successfully adhering to timelines and are comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments. CCNA or equivalent experience., Knowledge of automation tools and containers is a plus. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git). Resourceful individual with a strong desire to learn.
