Job Title: Climate Risk Business Analyst Location: New York (Day one Onsite) Interview: Webex Hire Duration: Long Term Job Description: Minimum 8 + years of experience as a Business Analyst and Data Analyst working in Risk domain (Enterprise Risk Management) in Banking and Financial Services industry Knowledge of various type of Climate risk such as Physical and Transition and its sub type, transmission of climate risk into banking and finance sectors Experience in climate risk assessment, measurement and management, materiality assessment, impact and dependency mapping climate risk transmission into financial risks such as credit/market/underwriting/operational/liquidity risks Knowledge of various sustainability and climate policies, standards and frameworks, green and sustainable finance markets and instruments, climate risk integration in investment decisions and portfolio analysis and lending Experience in calculation of scope 3 emissions, carbon footprint calculation, Climate Value at Risk (CVaR), metrics such as carbon intensity, weighted average carbon intensity etc. Experience in working on various data sources and data providers, such as MSCI, Moodys, Sustainability etc, Experience in global reference scenarios such as IPCC RCPs and SSPs, IEA, NGFS etc. and scenario analysis, scenario parameters, integrated climate models Experience in working on various non-financial reporting frameworks such as TCFD, SASB, GRI, UN SDGs, CDP, Science Based Targets Initiative etc and understanding of regulatory landscape and emerging trends Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI, or similar platforms, preferred.
