This resource will support multiple apps and their assigned waves during migration into Prime. 1.Cognos Analytics version 10 or higher. The client will be using 11.x 2.Cognos Analytics installation, configuration, migration, upgrades 3.AWS, they client is using AWS and will work with Cognos Analytics in an AWS environment and architecture 4.They will require participation within the requirements gathering to understand the requirements for their team, will not actually have to gather requirements just be present to understand it fully and offer insight form a technical perspective. The Business Intelligence (BI) Senior Administrator/Architect will be responsible for assisting members of the BI administration team with all aspects of installation and configuration of Cognos Analytics. In this role, the individual will also assist with installation automation within AWS using Cloud Formation Templates (CFT) and implementation of security controls following NIST standards. Responsible for recommending and maintaining strategy for efficient migration of all types of objects (security, data sources, models, reports, etc..) through multiple environments from development to production. The role requires an individual who is motivated, enthusiastic, and understands the importance of stability for a production application. Required Qualifications Experience with Cognos Analytics 11.x installation/configuration/migration/upgrades within AWS environment and Distributed Deployment Architecture Expertise in troubleshooting and tuning environments for better performance Experience should include maintenance and support activities, performance monitoring and tuning, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, and general IT processes such as Change Management, Configuration Management, Problem Resolution, and Incident Tracking required Must be able to grasp overall system architecture and be able to quickly work on inflight items and immediate deliverables Create comprehensive documentation in the form of system requirements and technical documentation of the environment Provides technical guidance and the creation of standards with data module, dashboards, exploration Trains and mentors Business Intelligence staff on use of new technologies, design, and development approaches and the application of established standards and best practices for development Collaborates with other team members on the application of standards and best practices and contributes to the evolution of best practices and standards aimed at improving scalability, performance, and maintainability Creates architecture and/or design documents of the system Must be a self-starter that is motivated and can work independently with little to no oversight The successful candidate must be able to work comfortably alone or as part of a team Experience in the proper handling and protection of PHI Demonstrated problem analysis and critical thinking skills in a technical environment 7+ years of Cognos analytics administrator experience (latest version preferred) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Analytics or equivalent education/work experience Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in configurating/managing AWS cloud services like EC2/S3, AWS Load balancer and Cloud Formation Templates Prior experience with OKTA for external authentication Prior experience in implementation of NIST Controls, SSL/TLS 1.2 Keywords: business intelligence sthree information technology http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=389214&uid= |
