Job Title: ETL & DW Developer Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Contract Mode Of Interview: Video Interview Job Requirement: ETL Developer in Engineering Business Intelligence team will demonstrate a strong working knowledge of extract, transform, and load (ETL) development using SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS). Position requires a proven leader in large-scale Data Integration and Date Warehousing environments. Developer will assist in the design and development of data feeds, interfaces, data warehouses and enterprise reporting. Developer should also have knowledge of performing migration from Informatica to SSIS and also from SSIS to ADF. In addition, developer will have the opportunity to consult with non-technical business customers to determine requirements and apply the business rules to the data. This individual will work closely with internal departments and counterparts during implementation and through ongoing operations. Developer will also focus on solution design based on the strategic direction of the organizations data tier. Responsible to serve as a technical expert in designing robust Logical Data Models and stewarding the data design of the asset and ensuring alignment with the larger roadmap goals Work closely with business users to determine business requirements, lead requirements gathering meetings, propose future enhancements, resolve queries around existing design or any issues. Develop and define application scope and objectives. Prepare specifications for development of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) based solutions for migrating data in both OLTP and Data Warehouse environments. Design, develop, debug and support complex data integration interfaces and processes (including stored procedure and queries) using various tools and technologies including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, T-SQL and SQL Server technology. Strong experience in MS SQL Server Database Development and Administration. Hands on experience with constructing stored procedures, triggers, tables, user functions, views, indexes, relational database models. Strong experience in Oracle Database Development. Impact analysis of changing upstream processes to Data Warehouse and Reporting systems. Design and development of Power BI reports and Dashboards. Design database objects as necessary to meet ongoing business needs for reporting. Responsible to coordinate and mentor a team of mid/junior level developers and ensure project deliverables are met Perform technical design reviews and code reviews. Establish, enhance, implement, and maintain ETL best practices. Own the change request process and coordinate with other teams as necessary. Create and maintain documentation. 6+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft technologies in development and operation of Data Warehouse, and application integration solutions via SSIS. Strong understanding of DW/ETL processes, OLAP concepts, SQL Queries and Stored Procedure writing. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and PowerBI experience. Develop OBIEE Reports and Dashboards Migration from OBIEE to PowerBI At least 3 years experience as a project lead, team lead, etc. with the ability to mentor others Expert skills in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting data integration solutions; solid communication, interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills and a demonstrated ability for creative problem solving At least 2 years Finance experience is preferred, understanding of Finance data, application server, and network security Experience in migrating on premise databases to Azure SQL Database and Azure Cloud using Azure Data factory.
