Position: Azure Engineer(100% Remote) Location: 100% Remote Duration: 12 months Job Description: Looking for Azure Engineer with over 5 years of experience and strong Terraform The Azure Engineer reports to the DevOps manager and works closely with the azure lead engineer, software lead, release management, and SDET engineers. The position is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based systems for Client. They will develop and implement cloud-solutions and contribute to overall cloud sustainability. They will be customer-focused, support engaged, and with an engineering mind-set. Customer service and technical skills are equally important. The Engineer will work actively to ensure a positive and efficient work environment. In this position one will use appropriate interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with internal partners. Interacting with others in a way that promotes openness, trust, actively listening and ensuring accurate timely results. Essential Functions Utilizes experience to setup Azure PaaS applications and provide administrative support. Implement the strategy as designed by the lead engineer and contribute to it. Helps with configuration management and works with SRE (Service Reliability Engineering) team establish monitoring strategy for Azure. Utilizes experience in deploying and configuring Azure IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). Applies knowledge on various Azure concepts like (but not limited to) Azure AD, Conditional Access, Webapps, Azure storage, Logic Apps, ASE, Azure Backup, Front-Door, Application Gateway, and Azure Automation (CICD and more). Ensure the quality and completeness of Azure buildout. Ensure maintenance and documentation of Azure footprint. Suggest methods and modern technologies for increasing the effectiveness of Azure. Assist the lead with project planning and estimation. Perform other duties as needed or assigned. Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years experience with Azure Cloud Technologies. Experience with infrastructure as code. Exposure to Agile software development practices. Desired: Knowledge of healthcare systems.
