Design and implement the design of complex business systems. Ability to develop and implement data warehouses, client/server applications, web applications with tools such as C, Linux/Unix, Oracle, Microsoft Access, PLSQL, Designer 2000, HTML, Active X, ODBC compliant databases, Java, JavaScript, Crystal Reports, Visual Basic, reporting tools, structured and object-oriented development techniques. Ability to be flexible, work well under pressure, and adhere to work plans. Technical skill set required: Familiarity with Azure DevOps migration tool options Familiarity with Azure DevOps work items (area paths, etc) Familiarity with TFS on-prem data, whether apis or direct sql data access Familiarity with basic script/code writing and rest api calls Request This request is for resources to both support the integration of Microsoft Azure DevOps into ServiceNow (aka ServiceHub), Colorados new IT Service Management platform, and to aid in the development of governance protocols, customizations, and work item standardization. Justification / ARC DI Alignment Since the creation of The Governors Office of Information Technology, our department has provided critical services to our executive Agency partners. In 2023, OIT will complete its adoption of its first ITSM (IT Service Management) platform & tool. This ARC DI request is to integrate OITs mature application support & development tool, Microsoft Azure DevOps, into the newly adopted ITSM. The standardized governance framework & work item templating will provide direct efficiency benefits to each service-receiving Agency - improving our service relationship with all executive partners. Reducing technical debt through vertical integration in OITs enterprise service management platform directly aligns with ARC DIs two primary purposes: technical debt reduction & enterprise alignment.
