The Network Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting all network infrastructure, hardware, operating systems, and applications. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities: Design, configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN and WAN network infrastructure environments. Configure, deploy, patch, and upgrade switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network infrastructure equipment. Perform packet capture analysis and investigate and resolve help desk service requests using help desk software. Provide in-person and remote support for other team members, support engineers, and end-users. Ensure the safety of yourself and your coworkers while operating in manufacturing environments and follow ALL safety precautions prescribed by the manufacturing facility. Install and remove networking equipment on a shop floor environment where equipment may be mounted in places only accessible by ladder or lift. Communicate effectively with plant managers, corporate managers, customers, vendors, and other team members. Continually strive to strengthen the company's business philosophy of meeting needs, and exceeding expectations for our customers. Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Systems or equivalent experience. A minimum of 6 years of experience in a related ITS area. Expert understanding of all layers of the OSI model, VLAN design and configuration, and IP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, and IPSLA configuration on Cisco and Aruba switches and routers. Experience with Avaya, Aruba, and Cisco switches, and configuring and troubleshooting Enterprise-class wireless networks. Strong Packet capture analysis skills. Experience with Aruba ClearPass and Python scripting. Strong organizational skills, the ability to adapt and work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals throughout the company on departmental procedures, policies, and requests for information. Ability to evaluate and prioritize tasks for efficiency and completeness. Must be able to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of plant and corporate personnel and with customers, vendors, and other team members. CCIE/WCNA certification. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think and troubleshoot under pressure. The successful candidate will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the continued reliability, scalability, and security of our network infrastructure.
