Healthcare with Medicare, Medicaid, or CMS experience Requirements SAFe Certified Strongly Preferred Health care required (with experience around CMS or other gov data preferred) Data mapping & analysis via Python (Required to perform some basic data analysis when working with the technical teams) 6+ years experience in a product owner role Strong communication / ability to navigate political environment (seasoned) Experienced and understands technical landscape operating as product owner (not project manager) grooming backlog, creating stories, working with stakeholders, etc. for technical improvements. Create the product backlog items and prioritize them based on the overall strategy and business objectives and map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development. A strong competency in Data Management, Data Access Management, Data Product Delivery, or Production & Reporting Own product strategy and solution, from inception to delivery and identify business value and end user outcomes including key performance indicators and return on investment. Serve as the point person on the product development team using high level perspective to define goals and create a vision for product development projects. Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor. Communicate with stakeholders across the board including customers, business managers and the development team to ensure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives, utilizing key performance indicators to show progress. Create product roadmaps as a high level, strategic visual summary that outlines the vision and direction for the product offering over time, to be used as a strategic guide for stakeholders to reference and as a plan for execution. Role Summary The Enterprise Data Strategy team within Global Data & Analytics (GD&A) is built to help CIGNA drive that improvement in the accessibility and quality of our data assets and tools, and allow us to deliver data solutions faster than we do today. Our ultimate goal is to ensure Cignas ability to grow is unconstrained by any limitations of our data. The CIGNA team is comprised of business and technical teams spanning Customer, Provider, Buyer and Intermediary Data Domains as well as foundational enterprise data teams. The Data Product Owner is a technical-facing role that requires a candidate with strong data management background who understands data, how to ingest data, proper use/consumption, data quality, and product delivery. In this role, you will understand customer and business needs, build internal stakeholder commitment, develop deployment roadmaps and partner collaboratively across the organization to jointly develop, launch and govern the product implementation experience. You will partner with the team on costs, return on investment, prioritization and accountability to business stakeholders.
