Responsibilities will include designing and supporting the monitoring of internet and other inbound/outbound data circuits, adhering to selected best practices and defined security policies, documenting key network components and occasional after hours and weekend work. Architectures used will include IP switching/routing/WAN and wireless technologies; remote access and security technologies, such as firewalls and VPNs; and Microsoft Azure SDN and Express Route configurations. In-depth understanding of networking principles including, but not limited to, routing (BGP / OSPF / EIGRP / SIP), WAN (MPLS / VPLS / OC3 / IPSec VPN), LAN (Catalyst Switches / VLANs / Spanning Tree), Firewall (Cisco / Juniper / Checkpoint), Remote Access VPN, Cisco SDWAN Strong knowledge of Cisco IP Routers Switches, WAPS, VoIP, Call Managers and Gatekeeper products.
