Interview Process: * Interview with Terry (one & done) Requirements: 1. Education Bachelor of Science, Information Technology Systemsor equivalent experience. 2. Work Experience A minimum of 6 years previous work experiencein related ITS area. a. Expert understanding of all layers of the OSI model. b. Proficient in the configuration and installation of Layer 1 / 2 switchesand routers. c. Advanced understanding of and experience with VLAN design and configuration. d. Strong Packet capture analysis skills. e. Experience investigating and resolving help desk service requests and use ofhelp desk software. f. Strong understanding of and experience with configuring IP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP,HSRP, IP SLA on Cisco and Aruba switches and routers. g. Experience with Avaya, Aruba and Cisco switches. h. Experience with network cabling and an understanding of basic ethernetcabling requirements. i. Expert understanding of and experience with configuring and troubleshootingEnterprise class wireless networks. (Aerohive, Cisco and Aruba) j. Experience with Aruba ClearPass k. Experience with Python scripting 3. Skills a. Must be proficient in current Windows Operating Systems. Desktop and server. b. Proficient in use of Linux. c. Must have strong organizational skills to handle numerous details,deadlines, and requests. d. Must have the ability to adapt to and work effectively and independently ina fast paced, multitasking environment. e. Must thrive under pressure and maintain composure when troubleshooting eventhe most critical system failures. f. Must be able to evaluate and prioritize tasks for efficiency andcompleteness. g. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability toeffectively communicate with individuals throughout the company on departmentalprocedures, policies, and requests for information. h. Able to work overtime as needed. 4. Certificates CCIE/WCNA 5. Personality Characteristics Must be able to interacteffectively and professionally with all levels of plant and corporate personneland with customers, vendors and other team members. 6. Special Physical Requirements Must be able to complete all tasksassociated with the installation/removal of networking equipment on a shopfloor environment where equipment may be mounted in places only accessible byladder or lift. Skills/ Must-Haves: * Previous level 1/2 troubleshootingexperience * BGP configuration * Cisco and Aruba * Understanding of routing protocols, wireshark and analyzing * MUST be willing to travel to client sites as needed - right now travel isminimal, but there will be travel for installs that can take place overweekends.
