TheSenior Active Directory/Windows Systems Administrator should have at least 5 to10 years of directly related experience supporting Active Directory engineeringand cloud technologies with increasing responsibility. The Senior ActiveDirectory / Windows Systems Administrator is a subject matter expert who isresponsible for designing and configurating Active Directory and the WindowsServer environments both on and off premises.

-Certifications: MCSE/MCSA: Server Infrastructure - Windows Server 2019 andWindows Server 2012.

-Strong understanding of architecting and configuring Microsoft Windows OStechnology including Cloud Technologies (Azure) AD Forests, Domains, Trusts,DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units.

-Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory, GPO, and password/identitymanagement systems.

- Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science,Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination ofeducation, technical training, or work/military experience.

- Assist in management and support of internal and externalDNS systems. Assist in management and support of internal DHCP architecture andscoping.

- Work with stakeholders and other technical teams tocollect business and technical requirements and design / deliver enterpriselevel solutions.

- Create and update technical documentation of operatingprocedures.

- Maintain standards for installation of infrastructuresoftware / hardware installations.

- Serve as a technical expert for Tier 1/2/3 support groups.

- Oversee the architecture and design of the backup andrecovery of Active Directory.

- Provide problem solving leadership based on experiencewith the technology.

- Act as a key member of the Windows Active Directory DomainWindows Systems Administrator Support Team in providing timely and efficientsupport to assigned operations; apply security patches/fixes and anti-virusupdates as released by software manufacturers and anti-virus vendors, createand implement domain level security policies such as authentication mechanisms,password policies and rules 

Responsibilities:

Senior Active Directory/Windows Systems AdministratorL3 Engineer

- Proven expertise in designing and architecting domainrelated projects.

- Design and architect an Active Directory Infrastructure,including, design and implementation of Group Policys within the organizationsdomain.

- Utilize logical problem solving to find creative solutionsto problems in the environment.

- Plan and execute Active Directory Domain level upgrades.

- Plan and design Group Policy Objects as requested toensure compliance of company policies for servers and user end-point devices.

- Collaborate and communicates with peers and vendorpartners.

- Own and lead discussions in business and technicalinformation technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancement andconversions. Recommends solutions as appropriate.

- Support IT goals and objectives including measures andprojects.

- Review domain level rights and privileges and performchanges to the same as appropriate.

- Collaborate in assessing current and expected Windowsinfrastructure needs, configuration, maintenance, optimization anddocumentation of Windows infrastructure.

- Follow and apply configuration and security standards andpolicies within a defined Change Management process.

- Assist with implementing solutions for hardware andsoftware. Implement common preventive maintenance practices for hardware andsoftware.

- Ensure that system improvements and changes areimplemented correctly and completely. Monitor all effects of the modifications.

- Establish/recommend policies on system use and services.

- Perform common administrativetasks.
